Editorial Note – Soraya Alcalá
The Wonder Women of Latin Music recognition has become one of the most relevant indicators of leadership and influence in the industry. Each year, the LAMC highlights women whose work is measurable, strategic, and essential to the growth of Latin music—executives, producers, creators, and innovators who are shaping the direction of the genre on a global scale.
The 2026 honorees reflect a moment of expansion: women leading teams, redefining sound, building platforms, and opening space for new voices. Their contributions are not symbolic; they are structural. They move the industry forward with decisions, results, and long‑term vision.
This year’s selection confirms something fundamental: Latin music continues to grow because of the women who build, negotiate, create, and lead with consistency and impact.

As first reported by Billboard this morning, the LAMC is proud to announce the seventh edition of our Wonder Women of Latin Music recognitions presented by Amazon Music, celebrating women making a difference in the industry. This year’s «Class of 2026» includes a wide array of women across a range of companies, categories and markets.
