The LAMC 2025 Sets a New Attendance Record
The Industry Came Together in a Celebration of The Latin Music Industry’s Strength and Creativity
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s LAMC unforgettable.
In a powerful reflection of the Latin music industry’s continued growth and global influence, thousands of artists, music lovers, content creators, industry executives (and future leaders), managers, agents, media, and innovators gathered in New York City for the 26th edition of the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC).
This year’s artist showcases were nothing short of spectacular. From the intimacy of the Acoustic Showcase ‘BMI El Acoustic Lounge LAMC’ at SOBs presented by BMI to high-energy, free public performances at Central Park’s SummerStage— featuring Camilo, Morat, Planta Industrial,Yami Safdie, Ela Taubert, Cheo, and DJ sets by KEXP’s Albina Cabrera and El G (ZZK Records)— once again, the LAMC brought Latin music to life on stages across the city.
Additional showcases took over venues like SOBs and DROM, where four nights of programming featured standout events with Sony Music Latin, Sounds from Spain, Warner Music Latina, and the Indie Showcase presented by PopArt and Cosquin Rock.
This year’s lineup featured an exciting mix of emerging and established talent, including, Tiago IORC, Las Ninyas del Corro, Mi Amigo Invencible, Gera Demara and many more.
Each artist brought their own unique voice to the celebration—reinforcing that LAMC continues to be a space where creativity meets opportunity and where the future of Latin music takes center stage.
At the LAMC you could run into teams from Rimas, Sony and Warner to the coolest indie labels, companies and artists from Chile, Argentina, Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the U.S. as well as teams from all of the DSPs and OCESA founder, Alejandro Soberón (who did an intimate panel with Julyssa Lopez from Rolling Stone!).
Daytime activities at The InterContinental New York Times Square Hotel included the chance to network and attend at-capacity panel discussions that featured reps from TikTok, Meta, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, Billboard, The Orchard, Rolling Stone, Rimas Publishing, Live Nation, Magnus, CAA, BMI, Sony, Warner, The Latin Recording Academy, Yágueri, BIME, AIE, SoundExchange, WK Records, City National Bank, peermusic, and many more.
Conference attendees also had the opportunity to network and take part in one-on-one meetings with representatives from The Latin Recording Academy, along with exclusive content capture sessions hosted by SoundExchange.
Guests were also invited to create fun, shareable content and enjoy memorable moments in our interactive exhibitor lounge.
The LAMC once again expanded the conference to program a special day of offsite events. We took the discussions straight to where the action happens with masterclasses and showcases at the New York offices of tech leading companies TikTok, YouTube and Meta.

This year’s LAMC Discovery Award winners are NYC based band Planta Industrial, along with Argentina’s Luz Gaggi and Silvestre y La Naranja.
Each received prizes from Taylor Guitars and Fender, and now join previous LAMC Discovery alumni such as Carla Morrison, Nathy Peluso, Buscabulla, Zoe Gotusso, YADAM, and El Mató a Un Policía Motorizado, to name a few.
LAMC also announced ‘Camino Relámpago’ in association with PopArt Music and Enigma. An open call to discover and elevate the next breakout music artist from Latin America with international potential.
One winning artist will be selected and awarded an extraordinary opportunity to travel to New York City in 2026 and be introduced as the first winner of this new initiative through the Discovery Artist program at the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) and will also record at a prestigious studio in New York City.
