Aeromexico received the recognition as the most punctual global airline 2025, by the international consulting firm Cirium, becoming the first airline in the world to get this distinction twice. According the Cirium’s On-Time Performance Review, during 2025 Aeromexico stayed at the top of the ranking for seven months and operated nearly 190,000 flights in total, of which 90.02% landed on time and 91.88% departed according to schedule. With these figures, it managed to significantly widen the gap over the second place. In addition, the company outperformed its operational results by more than three percentage points compared to 2024, when it also achieved first place in punctuality. According to the report, Aeromexico also led the Completion Factor, an indicator that measures the percentage of flights completed without cancellations or diversions. The award ceremony took place at an event held in the airline’s Hangar Oriente, attended by Andres Conesa, Aeromexico’s CEO and Jeremy Bowen, CEO of the consultancy specializing in aviation data analysis. During this same event, Aeromexico received the award for Best Global Airline in North America, granted by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). Joe Leader, the Association’s CEO, presented this distinction, which recognizes the company’s excellent service and its commitment to passenger experience and safety. The APEX awards are based on certified feedback from different travelers and on information gathered by TripIt, the world’s top‑rated travel planning and flight‑tracking app. For this edition, APEX evaluated more than one million flights from 600 airlines around the world. By the end of 2025, Aeromexico had transported more than 24.5 million passengers through a connectivity network made up of 129 domestic and international routes across Mexico, Europe, Asia, North America, the Caribbean, Central and South America.
