Inc., a multimedia company and leading destination for modern men, unveils the first-ever reader voted winner of the Maxim Cover Girl Contest. More than 10,000 undiscovered beauties entered for the chance to be the first Maxim Cover Girl winner. Public voting took place with Maxim receiving 1,000 views per minute, totaling 18,000,000 views throughout the contest.
The three-month voting process drew millions of voters who cast their ballots for the next Maxim Cover Girl. In the end, Olivia Burns, from Wellington, Florida, came out on top as the readers’ choice. Burns won a coveted photoshoot with famed Maxim photographer Gilles Bensimon, an exclusive appearance on the cover of the January/February issue, an inside feature in the magazine, and a check for $25,000.
“The Maxim Cover Girl Contest was such an incredible and empowering experience,” said first-ever winner, Olivia Burns, “I am so honored to have gotten the experience of shooting with legendary photographer Gilles Bensimon. The Maxim Cover Girl Contest was the first time a leading national men’s magazine selected a cover girl through a democratic vote. The contest reached over 27 Million people worldwide and raised $500,000 for charity.
