TELEMUNDO celebrates the New Year with renowned personalities Patricia Manterola and Daniel Sarcos from the iconic Times Square in New York City, in what promises to be an unforgettable night with the special “Bienvenido 2017” (Welcome 2017), on Saturday, December 31st starting at 10pm/9c.
In this simulcast with NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly, viewers will enjoy music performances by superstars Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, Pentatonix, Blake Shelton, Gente de Zona, Regulo Caro, Alexis & Fido, Carlos Ponce and Sebastian Yatra, in addition to all the energy and excitement of the countdown to the new year with the famous Times Square Ball in one of the most emblematic celebrations of the world. During the three-hour broadcast, the US Hispanic network recaps the most remarkable moments in 2016, as well as the predictions for 2017 in politics, entertainment and events that will shock the world, in addition to the special reports by Janice Bencosme from New York’s Telemundo 47, reporting from the streets of the Big Apple.

After cohosting the fourth season of TELEMUNDO’s “La Voz Kids,” Patricia Manterola returns to the network with the special, “Bienvenido 2017.” Also known as Patty, she is a Latin star with great international recognition since she joined the popular music group Garibaldi. In the world of acting, she starred in several telenovelas and has played important roles in major Hollywood productions. In music, she has launched eight albums, and this year she released her latest single “Alalaleo” with a spectacular presentation on “La Voz Kids.”
Daniel Sarcos is currently one of the most successful media personalities in the Hispanic entertainment world with great experience as an actor, host and singer. He is currently a cohost of TELEMUNDO’s award-winning morning show “Un Nuevo Día.” For twelve years, he was the host of the hit entertainment show “Super Sabado Sensacional,” as well as “La Guerra de los Sexos” and Miss Venezuela beauty pageant. His monologues and plays have taken him all over Latin America. He has also participated with leading roles in movies such as “Que macho de mujer,” “Los Paracaidistas,” and “El plan perfecto,” premiering in January 2017.
