by admin

A recent study conducted by Dental expert lighthousedentalcentre.com, found that Colorado is the healthiest state in the US, scoring 80 out of 100. Kentucky and West Virginia are the least healthy states, with respective scores of 41.4 and 40.

This conclusion was drawn based on the quality of the air, obesity prevalence, physical activity, prevalent health conditions (such as cholesterol, cancer, and coronary heart disease), sleeping, smoking, drinking habits, food consumption patterns, and the percentage of adults with no tooth loss among the residents in all the states.

lighthousedentalcentre.com evaluated all 50 states in the US using 13 distinct criteria, assigning a score out of 100 for each criterion. These individual scores were then combined and weighted to generate a final score out of 100. The data for this comprehensive study was sourced from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
