WILTON MANORS, Fla.

Art Gallery 21 is pleased to announce its second art exhibit of the season, OUTSIDE THESE WALLS, is opening this Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at the Island City Cultural Center (600 NE 21st Court, Wilton Manors, FL 33305) with a Grand Opening Ceremony which will celebrate Florida bears, wildlife, nature with local featured artists Kristin Hines, Don Schwartz, and artist Phoenix Spirit Diva.

This marks the second art exhibit opening of the season at Art Gallery 21, with nine total art exhibits planned for Art Gallery 21’s 2025-2026 art exhibit schedule spanning from September 2025 to July 2026 in Wilton Manors.

“This nature photography exhibit will be on display at the Island City Cultural center in Wilton Manors from Oct. 18th through Nov. 8th, 2025 and feature 36 works of art spotlighting Florida nature and wildlife,” said Constance Ruppender, founder and president of Art Gallery 21, a registered non-profit organization dedicated to highlighting local community artwork and artists alike.

OUTSIDE THESE WALLS will offer local South Florida art lovers a captivating new nature photography exhibit on with a grand opening reception: “To show support for the lives of Florida bears and other essential wildlife and nature across our sunshine state, we’re encourage locals to attend the Opening Reception to celebrate this unique nature photography exhibit, which is free to the public and offers an educational and entertaining outing that promotes nature and animals living in our surrounding natural outdoor spaces,” Ruppender stated.

Art Gallery 21 is proud to uplift and work with three local nature photographers featured in this new exhibit– Phoenix Spirit Diva, Kristen Hines and Don Schwartz. “Local South Florida photographers who capture some of Florida’s most stunning natural habitats will give art and photography lovers a chance to see some of the magnificent natural landscapes and wildlife that we are surrounded by,” Ruppender said.

For the 2025-2026 art exhibit schedule, all exhibit openings take place on the third Saturday of the month from 6 to 8 PM to coincide with Art Walk Wilton Manors. Looking ahead to 2026 and 2027 at Art Gallery 21, Ruppender says the gallery is also in the process of finalizing additional wonderful exhibits with the Gold Coast Watercolor Society to celebrate their 50th anniversary and will collaborate with local contemporary artists like James Swarthout, Yochi Yakir Avin and Frank Papandrea for new and exciting art shows. “I’m particularly excited about a new Rock N’ Roll music photo exhibit we’re planning to produce with local professional music photographer, Larry Marano, who has photographed some of the rock music industry’s most iconic artists and performers including Black Sabbath and Megadeath,” Rupppender continued.
