A new three-year collaboration brings the Adriatic Film Awards to the Cannes Film Festival
Porto Montenegro and the Sarajevo Film Festival have announced a three-year partnership that will see Porto Montenegro continue to host the Adriatic Film Awards, further strengthening the event’s position as a leading platform celebrating cinematic excellence across the Adriatic region.
The announcement was made during a reception at the Cannes Film Festival, bringing together film industry professionals, cultural leaders, and international partners to discuss the growing importance of regional collaboration in cinema and the creative industries.
Representing Porto Montenegro, Alexandru Avram, Senior Head of Destination and Events, highlighted the significance of the partnership and the role of culture in shaping the destination’s international profile.
