We are closely monitoring the outbreak and spread of COVID-19 virus, following all CDC, Miami-Dade County, Florida Health Department along with our partner hospital protocols to protect the health and safety of our families, volunteers and staff.
As an organization, we will continue to provide a caring and comfortable home for families with a child in medical crisis being treated in our community. We have taken the following measures to address the issue:
- All house visitors have been suspended
- All house tours have been cancelled
- Volunteer activities and Adopt a Meal program and other activities cancelled
- Increase cleaning and hygiene protocols at the facility and administrative offices
This temporary disruption in programming will leave our guests without many of the essential resources they count on at Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida, including daily meals through our Adopt-A-Meal program.
