As Miami Art Week and Art Basel return this December, Wynwood once again takes center stage as the city’s creative epicenter.

Across its colorful, mural-lined streets, international art fairs, galleries, immersive exhibitions, pop-up restaurants, and live performances will transform this walkable neighborhood into a living canvas.

From major contemporary showcases to family-friendly activations and late-night gatherings, Wynwood invites visitors to get lost in its art, energy, and community, a place where creativity knows no boundaries.

“Wynwood is more than a backdrop for Art Week; it’s Miami’s creative heartbeat throughout the year,” said William Kelley, Executive Director of the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID). “This year’s programming captures the full spirit of the district, uniting fine art, street art, community programs, and nightlife into one vibrant experience.”

Wynwood’s creative influence extends beyond its borders this year. To connect Art Week’s global audience directly with the neighborhood’s spirit, the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) will debut an immersive booth at Art Miami, built around its 2025 Art Week theme, Get Lost in Wynwood.

At the center of the installation, a 10×10 digital screen will feature video footage of a local artist painting a mural in Wynwood, giving fairgoers the sensation of watching the artwork come to life before them. A second looping video will showcase the district’s culture — its galleries, restaurants, nightlife, and public art — inviting visitors to explore Wynwood in person.

The booth also includes artwork by Andrew Soria, whose collage of Wynwood’s architecture appears on limited-edition tote bags and T-shirts available during the fair. Staffed by BID representatives throughout the week, the booth serves as both an exhibition and an open invitation to Get Lost in Wynwood during Miami Art Week.
