UDON Asian Food, Spain’s leading chain of Asian restaurants, today announced the opening of it’s first US-based location in Miami’s Wynwood district. Located at 265 NW 24th Street Miami, Fl 33127, the restaurant will be open to the public very soon. The new 2,500-square-foot space is located steps away from the residential, mixed-use development  Wynwood 25, at the epicenter of the urban arts cultural scene. With a total capacity of 137, the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating on the terrace.

UDON Asian Food is a unique concept serving healthy high-quality food in a relaxing atmosphere, with a clean, minimal design using natural materials. Restaurant locations combine classical Asian Tatemae designs with a contrasting fun and funky look. Co-founders,Jordi Pascual and Jordi Vidal currently operate 70 restaurants throughout Spain and Portugal and are on a mission to continue expanding UDON Asian Food’s global footprint to reach 100 locations by 2024. The new Wynwood location pays homage to the community’s historical arts scene by exhibiting Dase Marc Alvarez’s work, an internationally renowned graffiti artist.

“As we continue to grow from Spain to Miami, and soon to the Caribbean, we aim to maintain the same level of quality, nutritious dishes and the impeccable casual service we’ve been recognized for all these years,” said co-founder Pascual. “We couldn’t be more excited to bring UDON’s cooked-to-order dishes to Wynwood. We felt the creativity of the neighborhood matched our innovative character and restless palates,so it would be an ideal place to offer a personable, yet distinctive dining experience.”

Alberto Gomez, Executive Chef and Director of I+D, along with his team will be present for the opening of the restaurant to ensure continuity in the preparation of UDON’s signature dishes. UDON Asian Food’s original recipes are health conscious without sacrificing flavor. The menu consists of Udon, Ramen, and Soba types of noodles, along with Asian-inspired tapas, assorted rice dishes, and some vegan and vegetarian options. The most popular dish is the Corral Chicken Yakisoba and sushi rolls made with noodles instead of rice. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients oftentimes sourced locally for optimal taste.
