Por primera vez Venezuela tendrá un Caucus en el Congreso que proponga, discuta y promueva leyes para apoyar el restablecimiento de la Democracia y la reconstrucción de Venezuela. Este es un momento histórico para nuestra comunidad, que generará un gran cambio en la forma en que interactuamos con el Congreso, abriendo una ventana para mayor acceso y más apoyo.

This event is part of Venezuelan American Alliance 's first Fly-in to Washington D.C. where we will have a loaded agenda with members of Congress and the Administration.

Registration starts at 9:00 AM. Activities last until 5:00 PM.

In this day, we will receive an Administration Briefing by Elliott Abrams, U.S. Special Representative for Venezuela.

Our guest speakers will talk in three panels about:

• U.S. - Venezuela Relations. Dan Fisk, Former NSC Sr. Director for Western Hemisphere, George W. Bush administration , and Mark Feierstein, Former NSC Sr. Director for Western Hemisphere, Barack Obama administration , 

• Immigration Issues. Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-FL) , 

• Rebuilding Venezuela in a post-Maduro era. John Barsa, Assistant Administrator, USAID.

Additional speakers from the U.S. Administration and from the U.S. Congress will be confirmed soon.

We will have Lunch with House members and the announcement of the new House Venezuelan Democracy Caucus with Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) and Rep. Mario Diaz Balart (R-FL) along with other House members
