Free Burgers for all Spectators Immediately Following the Contest
What:
Z-Burger in the Tenleytown section of Washington, DC is kicking off the Independence Day Holiday with its 16th Annual Independence Burger Eating Championship on Thursday, July 3rd. Twelve contestants from around the United States will square off at the World’s Top Burger Eating Contest to see who can stomach the most burgers in the allotted ten minute time period to win the World Burger Eating Title.
Last year’s co-winner Molly Schuyler, the World’s #1 Independent Eater, who has consumed 37 burgers in 10 minutes, will be back to try to win her 11th straight title.
Contestants:
Fourteen Contestants made up from some of the top independent pro eaters and local Washington, DC area participants.
Highlights:
Molly Schuyler of Harwood, MD will go up against rival Dan “Killer” Kennedy from West Decatur, PA. In last year’s event they tied for the Championship with 34 burgers each.
Prizes:
$5,500 in cash prizes. The 2025 contest prize breakdown is as follows: first- $2,000, second- $1,250, third- $1,000, fourth- $750, fifth- $500,
Following the contest, all spectators will be treated to any free single burger until 2pm.
