SmileHub compared the social activism environment in all 50 states across 15 key metrics. The data set ranges from the number of rights/activism charities per capita to civic education engagement to hate crimes per capita.

• 50th – Share of Population Belonging to an Organizational Membership
• 20th – Access to Public Transportation

• 2nd – Hate Crime Incidents per Capita
• 33rd – Share of Residents Living in Poverty
