The rising Mexican music artist unveils the release date of his highly anticipated new album
Los Angeles, CA (April 24, 2026) –
Global Música Mexicana star Xavi officially announces his highly anticipated second studio album “Dosis”, set for release on May 21. The 19-track project showcases a dynamic blend of cumbia norteña, bachata, and urban influences. Click HERE to presave.
The announcement comes alongside the reveal of the album cover, a striking heart with rubies, symbolizing this new chapter. The visual ties back to the heart-shaped ruby necklace Xavi has been wearing and teasing since last year, marking the official beginning of the “Dosis” era.
“Dosis” will include some of Xavi’s biggest hits to date, including “En Privado” with Manuel Turizo, a standout record that earned a spot on Barack Obama’s annual favorite songs list, as well as “No Capea” and “La Morrita,” both of which reached #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart, marking the sixth #1 of his career.
The album also features high-profile collaborations with Fuerza Regida, Neton Vega, and Codiciado, alongside an all-English track titled “Find Us Again,” reflecting Xavi’s Mexican-American identity and expanding global reach.
Across its 19 tracks, Xavi continues to push the boundaries of Música Mexicana while staying rooted in his signature corridos romanticos sound. Select tracks will be previewed during his upcoming X Tour across Mexico, including major stops in Monterrey on May 2 and Guadalajara on May 5th.
