First previewed during a spontaneous moment at the Supernova event in August, the leaked snippet quickly spread online, generating millions of views and cementing anticipation for its official release.
“Cartier” is a tumbado romántico, staying true to Xavi’s signature style. Built on smooth guitar melodies and a laid-back regional tumbado rhythm, the track captures late-night emotions of heartbreak and excess, delivering a collaboration that feels natural and refreshing for fans of música mexicana.
The release comes at a peak moment for Xavi, who continues to dominate streaming platforms with his recent hits. “No Capea” and “En Privado” currently rank within the Top 20 of Spotify Mexico and are charting across Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras. ‘En Privado’ also broke into the Spotify Global Chart, peaking at #77 and remaining a steady international presence, further solidifying Xavi’s position as one of música mexicana’s leading voices.
