Heaviest Sleigh PulledCanadian native, Kevin Fast celebrated Christmas early this year when he secured his 32nd GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for heaviest sleigh pulled at 16,500 kg (36,376.273 lbs.). Featured in the Guinness World Records 2021 edition for his incredible feats of strength, Fast brought the holiday spirit to his attempt donning a Santa suit, accompanied by his wife dressed as Mrs. Claus and their two sons as elves. Over the last 22 years, Fast has achieved various record titles, including heaviest aircraft pulled (male), most people supported on the shoulders, heaviest house pulled by a man, and heaviest vehicle pulled with an arm wrestling move. With everything that has taken place this year, Kevin is hopeful he can bring a message of resilience and encouragement to those who need it most this holiday season. Although he makes it look as effortless as delivering millions of presents around the world in one night, Fast’s accomplishments are anything but easy. His remarkable feats continue to inspire those around him to look past any assumed limitations and aspire to push, or pull, themselves farther than expected.
No matter how many record titles Fast adds to his long list, he still feels like the moment they are declared can only be described as the feeling of “a little child waking up on Christmas morning, opening a present and getting exactly what they wanted.” Adjudicator Christine Fernandez announced Kevin’s achievement in a remote presentation with a very jolly Fast, who accepted the announcement with a boisterous clap and a “Ho, Ho, Ho!” ![]() GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS |
