Visit Pensacola, the destination marketing organization for Escambia County, Florida, announced today the launch of their new initiative, “Beach+”.
Developed by their advertising agency Showcase Pensacola, in partnership with Expedia Group, Inc., Beach+ incorporates sponsorship elements on Expedia’s platform, as well as digital ads targeted to potential travelers across the internet and sponsored social media posts that lead users to the new shoppable site, Expedia.com/see/Pensacola.
This program, powered by Expedia, will build awareness of Pensacola as a destination with something for everyone, while giving visitors a streamlined booking experience.
Darien Schafer, President and CEO of Visit Pensacola said, “We wanted to make it simpler for our visitors to learn about everything Pensacola has to offer, and be able to get more information and book in one environment.
Visitors to the new microsite are shown that Pensacola offers “Adventure beyond the beach”. Through a highly visual storytelling experience, users are led through a multitude of activities in Pensacola, including dining, culture, history, family fun, and nightlife. After exploring activities available in Pensacola, a visitor can then dive into lodging and flight options, all in one easy-to-navigate interface.
