Global rap phenomenon and Latin GRAMMY winner Trueno continues his unstoppable ascent, making history this past Friday with a sold-out Red Bull Symphonic concert at the legendary Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires.
For the first time in Argentina, an artist from the urban genre joined forces with a full 40-piece orchestra to reinterpret his repertoire in a completely new and one-of-a-kind format.
The show sold out within just one hour of tickets going on sale and was livestreamed globally via Trueno’s socials, offering fans around the world a front-row seat to this historic night. Defying conventions, Trueno took the stage in his signature white Air Force Ones, proving that hip-hop’s raw authenticity can thrive even within the grandeur of a symphonic setting.
The concert opened with a powerful medley of “RAIN III,” “FEEL ME” and “FRESH,” setting the tone for an unforgettable evening where Trueno’s rap collided with orchestral arrangements.
Fan favorites like “REAL GANGSTA LOVE,” “EN LA CITY,” “TRANKY FUNKY,” “FUCK EL POLICE” and “VIOLENTO” were given new life, enhanced by the lush soundscape crafted by arrangers Sebastián Fucci and Pedro Pasquale.
Special guests amplified the night’s energy: Trueno’s father Pedro Peligro and collaborator Kmi420 brought hip-hop’s spirit to the stage, while Milo J surprised the crowd with a show-stopping performance of “Tierra Zanta.” The legendary bandoneonist Rodolfo Mederos added a deeply moving moment with his guest appearance on “Argentina.”
The evening culminated in a breathtaking rendition of Trueno’s smash hit “DANCE CRIP,” where the 24-year-old artist briefly stepped into the role of orchestra conductor, leading the ensemble to a standing ovation from the packed theater.
The Red Bull Symphonic triumph capped off a monumental week for Trueno, who was just announced as the most nominated rapper at the 2025 Latin GRAMMYs, earning three nomoinations: Best Rap/Hip-Hop Song for “FRESH,” Best Urban Song for “EN LA CITY” featuring Young Miko, and Best Rap/Hip-Hop Song alongside Akapellah for “Parriba.” The nominations underscore his rise as one of the leading voices of Latin hip-hop.
Adding to his global momentum, Trueno also joined Gorillaz on stage in Spain last week where he previewed their upcoming collaboration “The Manifesto.” The track, featured on Gorillaz’ forthcoming album The Mountain (March 2026), is a landmark recording that places Trueno alongside the late Proof—member of Eminem’s famed group D12 and one of the rapper’s closest collaborators and friends. The powerful union cements Trueno’s place among global icons and highlights his ability to bridge generations and cultures.
Trueno has become one of the most influential voices in Latin hip-hop and a rising global star.
Crowned champion of both Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos and the Freestyle Master Series , he quickly exploded onto the scene with his viral “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 16” with Bizarrap.
His debut album Atrevido spawned the smash “MAMICHULA” (660M+ streams), while follow-up albums, ‘BIEN O MAL’ and ‘EL ÚLTIMO BAILE (DELUXE)’ each also surpassed 1 billion streams, delivering global hits like “DANCE CRIP,” “REAL GANGSTA LOVE” (Spotify Global Top 10), and the Latin GRAMMY-winning “TRANKY FUNKY.” With collaborations ranging from J Balvin, Feid, Gorillaz, DJ Premier, Bizarrap, Cypress Hill, Milo J and Marshmello. Trueno’s reach crosses genres and borders. On stage, his EL ÚLTIMO BAILE WORLD TOUR sold out arenas across Europe, Latin America, and the U.S.. With socially conscious lyrics, magnetic live performances, and a fearless creative vision, Trueno continues redefining Latin hip-hop for a global generation.
