The Argentine rap phenomenon reveals his next full-length project, marking a new era in global hip-hop
Miami, FL—
After going dark on social media for three months, global Spanish-language hip-hop phenomenon TRUENO makes his return the only way he could: announcing his fourth studio album, TURR4ZO, set for release on April 24.
This Saturday, TRUENO surprised his millions of Instagram followers with the announcement of his next musical chapter. In the post, captioned “TURR4ZO 4/24”, the multiple Latin GRAMMY® winner shared a video teaser for the album which shows the artist with a new look, dancing to 2010’s era Argentine barrio cult classic anthem “Tírate un Paso” by Los Wachiturros.
The announcement comes two days after TRUENO wrapped his run as opening act for Gorillaz on their “The Mountain Tour 2026” across the UK. The Argentine phenomenon joined the legendary group for seven dates, including sold-out shows in Glasgow, Cardiff, Leeds, Nottingham, Liverpool, Belfast and Dublin and will be returning for their sold out date at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in June.
TRUENO’s impact was impossible to ignore: he won over thousands of fans who flooded social media and music outlets with praise for his commanding stage presence and performance. XS NOIZE put it best — they had never seen an opening act draw a response like that from a Belfast crowd.
TRUENO also appears on The Mountain — the Gorillaz album at the center of this tour — on the single “The Manifesto” alongside Proof. The track has surpassed 20 million streams on Spotify, making it one of the most-streamed songs on the album.
With TURR4ZO, TRUENO shows no signs of slowing down redefining and globalizing contemporary Spanish-language hip-hop.
