One of Country music’s most exciting new acts and recent RCA Nashville/Sony Music Nashville signee, Corey Kent, has released his latest single, “Hood of That Car,” available now. Hot off the heels of his impressive hit single, “Wild As Her” (which impacted Country radio as his debut single on 8/15,) Kent’s latest single, “Hood of That Car,” written by Kent, Blake Chaffin, Jack Hummel, and Jacob Lutz, and produced by Chris Farren, is a palpable memory of innocence and finding young love with a boundless life ahead of you.
“This has been a wild year for us, and I’m excited to keep it rolling with Hood of that Car!” says Kent. “It’s a nostalgic, young love song. We went heartland rock undertones on the production side and I’m really stoked with the way it came out!”
Corey’s explosive single, “Wild As Her,” captured the attention of audiences everywhere and quickly garnered over 92 million on-demand streams since its release this past March. The free-spirited and high-energy track impacted Country radio this week as the second most added song with 42 first week stations. “Wild As Her” also landed Corey his first-ever entry into the Billboard Hot 100 and recently, he released an alternate duet version featuring rising singer-songwriter, Carter Faith (listen here).
