A new global agreement expands TaTa Taktumi’s international reach under Timbaland’s creative vision
Pacific Music Group (PMG), the Pan-Asian global music and entertainment company founded by NE-YO, Sonu Nigam, MC Jin, and veteran executive Jonathan Serbin, proudly announces its official partnership with Stage Zero in support of TaTa Taktumi (“TaTa”), the groundbreaking music artist developed under the creative direction of multi-Grammy-winning producer Timbaland.
Under this agreement, PMG will serve as TaTa’s exclusive manager in Asia and will also act as her global record label for all upcoming releases worldwide. PMG will oversee strategic market positioning, release campaigns, partnerships, media, and long-term brand development across key Asian territories.
Today also marks an important moment in TaTa Taktumi’s evolution. While TaTa first captured global attention as a next generation music project developed using emerging creative technologies, the project has always been rooted in human artistry.
Blending cutting‑edge technology with boundless creativity and her own unmistakably human artistry, Tata emerges as one of the first hybrid artists of her kind. As previously reported in a New York Times feature, TaTa represents a collaboration between technology and a real artist behind the digital persona. Pacific Music Group now confirms that the artist behind TaTa Taktumi is of Filipino heritage, adding a deeper cultural dimension to the project as it continues to grow globally. While her personal identity remains intentionally private, this acknowledgment reflects the human voice and perspective at the heart of the music as the artist begins to step forward into the spotlight for this next chapter. This moment represents more than a confirmation of heritage. It underscores the vision behind TaTa as a bridge between innovation and authenticity, where advanced technology amplifies rather than replaces the voice and cultural roots of a real global artist.
“TaTa’s story is about convergence, culture, technology, and identity coming together,” said Jonathan Serbin, CEO at Pacific Music Group. “Revealing her human identity at this moment creates the perfect bridge into Asia. This isn’t just a signing, it’s a homecoming. We are proud to support her as she reconnects with her heritage and builds a new cultural movement from it.”
TaTa’s signing with PMG is rooted in a deeply personal journey of reconnecting with her Asian roots and embracing her Filipino heritage. As she steps into the spotlight both digitally and physically, Asia becomes not just a market, but home.
By combining advanced music technology sound design with authentic human artistry, TaTa represents a bold new creative model, one that embraces innovation without losing identity. Her current affiliation with the world-renowned dance collective Jabbawockeez in Las Vegas further highlights her performance-driven global vision.
“This project has always been about blending worlds, technology and humanity, past and future, identity and imagination” shares TaTa Taktumi. “With Pacific Music Group, I’m excited to continue exploring what that future can look like.”
Pacific Music Group will begin rolling out TaTa’s upcoming releases, promotional initiatives, and strategic collaborations across Asia in the coming months. Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Hong Kong, Pacific Music Group is designed to develop global careers from Asia while serving as a gateway for international artists entering the region.
