Non-Binary Reggaeton Artist Goldilocks Drops Impressive Debut Album

by Soraya Alcalá

The new rising voice in the Latin urban scene, non-binary Spanish American and NYC-raised reggaeton artist Goldilocks (she/her/ella), continues to demonstrate her exceptional talent, arriving today with her highly anticipated debut album Future Famous.

Written and produced by Goldilocks herself, Future Famous is a spectacular testament to the magic that lies within us, and to the power that we have inside that allows us to manifest our own reality. The album presents a compelling fusion of reggaeton, pop, and hip-hop across 13 tracks, which together find their inspiration in Mohammad Ali’s belief that he was the greatest, before the public ever declared him to be. Future Famous features the previously released singles “La Que No,” “Bañador,” “Dance on Me,” “Animal” ft. L O U I S M E, “Type of Way,” and “Cherry.”

To celebrate the release of Future Famous, Goldilocks invites fans to join her for the album release show on Tuesday, June 8, which will be hosted by Blonde Records at Berlin Under A in NYC as part of the city’s Pride celebrations. She will share the stage with Bentley Robles, J’royce Jata, and Michael Rider. Tickets are available now via Eventbrite.

Described as “future famous” by manager and label owner Rebecca Sansom, Goldilocks has only been active in the industry for a few years, but her clean production and refined songwriting skills project the maturity of a seasoned veteran. The bilingual multi-instrumentalist has been making music since childhood, and in her debut album, she has merged the unmistakable flavor of the NYC music scene with the infectious rhythms of Latin America, forming a refreshing but unmistakable sound that has garnered praise from a number of publications and has won her comparisons to global sensations such as Ovy On the Drums and Bad Bunny.

Her hit single “Saab Story” debuted on Spotify’s New Music Friday Latin Playlist, and she also did liners for iHeart Radio telling her coming out story for National Coming Out Day 2020.
