Where Miami’s Cultural Engine Powers The Energy Of Race Week
As the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix returns to South Florida, Wynwood is once again staking its claim as the neighborhood destination for race week. From April 30 through May 3, the arts district will host an ambitious slate of activations spanning free fan experiences, immersive watch parties, world-class dining and cultural programming that cements Wynwood’s position as the place to be when you’re not at the track.
Now in its fifth consecutive year welcoming Formula 1 fans, Wynwood has evolved from a colorful backdrop into a full-fledged race week destination. This year’s lineup reflects that growth, with neighborhood venues, restaurants and cultural spaces collaborating to deliver programming that appeals to die-hard motorsport enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Racing Fan Fest — Wynwood Marketplace
2250 NW 2nd Ave | April 30 – May 3 | Free admission | Featuring the Miami Fan Zone presented by Kraken with Atlassian Williams F1 Team
The largest off-track free event in the neighborhood returns with a major headline addition: the Miami Fan Zone presented by Kraken with Atlassian Williams F1 Team, on site inside Racing Fan Fest for the first time. Fans can expect live Q&As with driver Carlos Sainz, Team Principal James Vowles, Reserve Driver Luke Browning and Williams Ambassador Damon Hill, alongside the FW48 livery on display. The festival also features racing simulators, virtual reality experiences, live race streams, DJ performances and brand activations from Hard Rock Bet, Tajín, Zambos, Carrera Sunglasses and Peroni. The first 250 guests through the door each day receive a complimentary drink. Williams Fan Zone entry is free but requires downloading the Williams app and registering in advance.

Audi Revolut F1 Team Miami Experience — MAPS Backlot

Making its American debut this season, Audi Revolut F1 Team has chosen Wynwood as the center of its Miami race-week footprint. The team’s 10,500-square-foot open-air takeover of MAPS Backlot turns one of the neighborhood’s most recognized production venues into a four-day F1 experience, with live Apple TV screenings of every practice, qualifying and race session, a curated program of partner activations, and daily sunset DJ sessions from 6 p.m. onward. A mural by Miami-based artist Hoxxoh, completed ahead of opening on April 29, wraps the exterior and extends inside the venue, with a live poster-printing station on site throughout the weekend. A Gillette barber corner offers race-week grooming, and the refreshment bar, powered by Perk, leans into local Latin flavors.

Race week officially launches at THRōW Social on Thursday, April 30, with an invite-only Miami New Times kickoff event in partnership with Peroni, a global partner of Ferrari, followed by three full days of public programming. The venue transforms into the ultimate Grand Prix viewing destination with every moment of race weekend broadcast on a massive 22-foot jumbotron and multiple screens throughout the space. Expect Red Bull racing simulators, interactive games, live bands, DJs, and a Sunday cigar roller during the main event. One of Miami’s buzziest open-air food events returns to Wynwood as the Complex Family Style Food Festival takes over the outdoor grounds of Mana Wynwood on May 2. Known for turning a standard food fest into a full-on cultural mash-up, Family Style pairs big-name restaurants with streetwear brands for one-off collaborations you can eat or wear, alongside art installations, merch drops and chef collabs. This year’s Miami lineup features vendors like Double Luck Chinese, Ted’s Burgers, Tina in the Gables, Pari Pari, The Wolf of Tacos and El Bori, plus a rotating roster of DJs including DZA, Silent Addy, Littlerok and Sheets & Pillows.
