23-year-old South Korean based pop star of 88rising and Feel GHood Music, BIBI, made her debut at the 2022 iHeart Radio Wango Tango festival on Saturday, June 4th. This marks the third US performance for the rising artist, following her fiery sets at Coachella’s Main Stage at 88rising’s HEAD IN THE CLOUDS FOREVER (April 2022) and Head In The Clouds Festival (November 2021). BIBI created a fan frenzy during the performance and after the set, being surrounded by a crowd of excited fans with posters and gifts to show admiration for the global star. She performed her trending hits including the all-English track “Best Lover” which is currently in US Pop Radio Top 50.
BIBI’s US red carpet debut included meeting other radio trending artists including international stars BECKY G, GAYLE and IANN DIOR.
BIBI is the first South Korean female solo R&B artist to chart on US Top 40 radio, and break into the Top 30 (with the highest peak position being #29). Her latest track, “Best Lover,” is currently in the Top 50 at Pop Radio, and “The Weekend” charted on All Access top 40/Mainstream Cool Music, peaking at #3. Both tracks have played on radio stations across the nation including KIIS LA, Ryan Seacrest’s “America’s Top #40,” Most Requested Live, and iHeart Radio’s “The Vibe.”
