Jamie Hannah represents a rare intersection of classical discipline and contemporary pop ambition. His operatic foundation is not a stylistic accessory—it is the backbone of an artistic identity built on technique, intention, and emotional clarity. “Oblivion” reinforces that duality: a modern pop track shaped by precision, vocal control, and a commitment to craft that sets him apart in an industry saturated with shortcuts.

Releases like this don’t simply add to a catalog; they expand the narrative of an artist determined to evolve, experiment, and leave a mark that resonates beyond the moment.

The rising artist blends classical training with modern pop in his striking new release

New York, NY –

Opera-trained British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jamie Hannah announces his new single “Oblivion, out today. The latest release from his forthcoming EP, the track further showcases Hannah’s singular vocal talent and emotional depth, seamlessly blending classical sensibilities with modern pop production. “Oblivion” explores themes of self-forgiveness and emotional release, unfolding through a cinematic arrangement that builds from intimate moments into sweeping vocal climaxes. Written by Hannah, Christopher Braide (SIA, Lana Del Rey), and Lindy Robbins (Demi Lovato, Matteo Bocelli), the track offers a powerful preview of the five-octave vocalist’s highly anticipated EP due later this year, which will feature collaborators including Diane Warren.

Hannah shares, “At its heart, it’s about learning to forgive yourself and realizing you don’t have to keep living in your own chaos.”

An intuitive lyricist and multi-instrumentalist, Jamie Hannah blends classical and operatic training with a deep passion for pop, creating a distinctive sound that draws from 17th-century composers like Monteverdi and Handel as well as modern icons such as Freddie Mercury, MIKA, Coldplay, and Adele. Trained as a countertenor at the Royal College of Music, Hannah has performed on major stages around the world, from opera houses in Shanghai and Beijing to London’s Royal Albert Hall. In April 2025, he performed his arrangements of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “Vide Cor Meum” (from Hannibal) with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra at the Prague Composer Summit. In December 2025, he performed at a charity concert supporting the Katie Piper Foundation, the UK’s only charity dedicated to specialized, long-term rehabilitation and support for adult burns and traumatic scarring survivors.

Recently, Hannah has drawn significant online attention through his Italian Aria series, reimagining well-known songs in Italian and French with lush classical arrangements. In just eight months, the performances have amassed 10M+ views and more than 200K new followers, with standout renditions including “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (2.7M Instagram, 1.6M TikTok), “Like a Prayer” (2M Instagram, 800K TikTok), and “Hallelujah” (1.8M Instagram, 1.2M TikTok), showcasing his remarkable five-octave vocal range.

A skilled orchestrator, Hannah plays multiple instruments and arranges his own music. During the UK lockdown, he brought music to nursing home residents by performing in car parks across London. Since relocating to California, he has expanded his sound through collaborations with a range of producers and songwriters while staying true to his LGBTQ+ identity and using his music to champion inclusivity.

With “Oblivion, Jamie Hannah unveils his auspicious next chapter. Marking the first of four releases from his forthcoming EP, the distinctive talent’s growing legion of supporters can expect more music and new projects in the months ahead.
