Veterans and First Responders can now access free Electroencephalogram Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (eTMS) treatment in South Florida at eTMS Florida’s Miami location, which opened December 1.

The new eTMS Florida at 6303 Waterford District Drive in Miami is part of a network of facilities across the Sunshine State where eTMS is available to Veterans and First Responders at no cost.

eTMS is an advanced, non-invasive brain stimulation therapy designed to help individuals struggling with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and more. This personalized treatment uses real-time brainwave analysis (qEEG) to tailor therapy to each patient’s needs, providing drug-free, pain-free symptom relief in as little as four weeks. eTMS therapy has proven highly effective in treating a variety of conditions, helping patients find lasting relief.

“As a United States Army veteran, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact that service-related trauma can have on those who defend our freedoms,” said Representative Danny Alvarez. ”We must deploy every possible resource to support our veterans, law enforcement officers, and first responders. By providing this innovative, drug-free treatment at no cost, we’re not just improving lives—we’re giving those who are struggling the chance to thrive.”

During the 2024 legislative session, the Florida Legislature championed funding to expand access to eTMS treatments for Veterans and First Responders struggling with mental and behavioral health challenges.

eTMS sessions last just 15 minutes and require 20 treatments for participants to fully benefit. Eligible Veterans and First Responders can receive treatment at eTMS Florida clinics in Tampa, Miami, Orlando, and Jacksonville. To qualify, participants must present proof of identification and provide a DD-214 or proof of service at their appointment.

“eTMS Therapy has been a game changer for me,” said Robert “Jeff” Grant, a Veteran in Miami. “Their approach isn’t just about treatment—it’s about real recovery and getting back to living life. I’ve seen the difference firsthand, and I’m grateful for the impact they’ve had on my journey.”

In addition to personalized brain stimulation therapy, participants also gain access to:

  • Peer-to-peer support networks for ongoing mental health support
  • Comprehensive neurophysiological monitoring to track treatment progress
  • Additional wellness resources to support long-term well-being

eTMS Florida is a program operated by JLC-FL, LLC. JLC has been pioneering innovative brain health treatments for military personnel, Veterans and First Responders for more 20 years.

JLC has provided eTMS treatment for nearly 1,000 military personnel, Veterans, and First Responders over the last five years. Since it launched in Ohio in 2019, JLC has expanded service offerings to Missouri and now Florida. Through JLC, military personnel, Veterans, and First Responders have received more than 4,000 hours of treatments at no cost to them.
