Today, Country Radio hitmaker, Singer/Songwriter and CEO Adrian Johnston has released her newest single “Household Name,” paired with an equally compelling music video.
Laced with vulnerability and truth while mixing music and motherhood, “Household Name” is Adrian’s story of balancing her two worlds. From continuously chasing her musical dreams while building both her career (she is not only a singer-songwriter, but also a CEO) and family, Adrian contemplated the defining decision many women face: walking away from the career of her dreams or settling down to raise a family in a stable household.
Running through eras, years on the road and flashes of career and life highlights, the video reminisces on memories of Adrian’s life and journey of finding her purpose, becoming a ‘Household Name’ at home: Mama.

The Texas native proves that it’s possible to make a name for yourself, in multiple ways, even if it’s different and more fulfilling than ever expected. The personal, honest depiction of this balancing act brings light to what mothers have sacrificed while reminding listeners that not every change has to end in grief, but can be welcomed as a new beginning.
Adrian shares: “It’s a really hard topic that a lot of women I don’t think want to address out in the open because it could be viewed as being ungrateful for your wonderful family and children. Listen, we LOVE our families, but it’s okay to miss your life before them! Especially when it’s a drastic change from being on the road 24/7 and performing in front of thousands of people on a regular basis vs sitting home alone with a baby. It’s a very hard dynamic to navigate, and I think this song brings light to it in a beautiful way to show it’s okay to love BOTH lives.”
