LATINA Style, Inc., the premier company addressing the needs of professional Latinas and entrepreneurs in the United States, presents its final stop of the 24th Annual LATINA Style Business Series (LSBS) in Columbus, on Friday, December 9th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Nationwide headquarters’ Jeffers Auditorium located at One Nationwide Plaza, Columbus, OH 43215.
Launched in 1998 in partnership with the SBA, the award-winning business development program for Latina entrepreneurs provides participants opportunities to network, learn about business ownership, gain access to capital, and attend career development seminars geared towards Latina and women professionals and entrepreneurs. For the past 11 years, Nationwide and LATINA Style have partnered to deliver this program to the Latina business community.
“It is an honor for Nationwide to host the final stop of the 2022 LATINA Style Business Series at our company headquarters in Columbus,” says Nationwide’s Associate Vice President of Enterprise Diverse and Cause Marketing Lu Yarbrough III. “Nationwide has a long history of supporting emerging and established entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds. We’re proud to partner with LATINA Style, the Hispanic Chamber of Columbus, and our many esteemed experts to present a day of culturally-informed content curated specifically with Latina businesswomen in mind.”
The “Our Road to Recovery” emphasis for 2022 offers insights from Latina business owners on how they survived the pandemic’s challenges and how they are concentrating on moving towards a more prosperous recovery.
The program focuses on solving some of the most critical business challenges faced by Latina entrepreneurs as they start up their business or plan for expansion. It also serves as a bridge between entrepreneurs and potential corporate vendor supplier programs, capital providers, and investors in small business.
“We are delighted with our partnership with Nationwide and its commitment to empower small businesses,” shares Robert Bard, President and CEO, LATINA Style, Inc. “Since 1998, over 42,000 Latina entrepreneurs in 157 cities have benefitted from participating in the program and we are proud of our role in continuing to empower Latinas, the fastest-growing segment in our nation’s small business community.”
