Sanguich De Miami’s first brick and-mortar restaurant officially opens its doors to the public on Saturday, September 22nd, serving up artisan Cuban style sanguiches, in the heart of Little Havana.

Inspired by the spirit of classic Cuban infused with modern Miami fare, all ingredients are produced and cooked in-house.

The highlight is their signature 7-day brined city ham and 24-hour marinated “lechon” inspired by abuelita’s “despacito, mi hijo” style of cooking. You can taste the commitment to quality in in every bite, as the homemade pickles, mustard, pickled onions, and mojo sauces are created using the freshest ingredients available.

The bread, essential to any Cuban sanguich, is made to Sanguich De Miami’s specifications by a bakery in Homestead.

The menu features six sanguiches that are made to order featuring el “Cubano”, pan con lechon, pan con croqueta along with variations on the classics including a fan-favorite, el pan con bistec. Thin cut slow-roasted top round steak is combined with homemade mojo rojo, fontina cheese, and freshly shaved papitas fritas to redefine the traditional steak sanguich.

With Seven signature “batidos” (Spanish for milk shakes) to choose from, including “trigo”, “mamey” and “banana”, fans will be sure to fulfill their craving for the perfect sweet-and savory combination.

Celebrating a tradition that stretches back generations, Sanguich De Miami greets the community with its unique Cuban charm, from its very own ventanita, which secures a front row view into the all-new 750 sq. ft. sit-down restaurant.

The cozy 25-seat sanguich shop and café pays homage to Cuba’s early 1900’s Spanish architecture.

The interior’s design is as evocative as decades of colorful conversations Sanguich De Miami’s owners, Daniel Figueredo and fiancée Rosa Romero, have had with family, friends, and charming locals about the vivacious history and culture of pre-Castro Cuba.

Designed and manufactured by Figueredo, Sanguich De Miami’s interior features brass trimmings with floating tables inlaid with brass and quartz, Cuban tiles throughout the restaurant and the decorative walls are adorned with reeded millwork. The restaurant’s core, surrounded by reeded glass and clear panes, allows customers to work up an appetite as they experience the sights, the sounds, and the smells of where the meats and sauces are prepared.

Sanguich De Miami is now open for business but will be celebrating its official grand opening to the public this Saturday, September 22nd starting at 6pm with live music, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a raffle for free sanguiches for the rest of 2018 with rsvp on Eventbrite.

Is located at 2057 SW Calle Ocho, Little Havana, Fl. The restaurant will open Monday – Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. – Midnight, and Sunday, from 11:00am – 8:00pm.
