25 active FCBEscolas across four continents
The FCBEscola Florida youth soccer academy, the soccer school of FC Barcelona, is sending 40 local area children from across Florida to Barcelona to compete in FC Barcelona’s 6th annual international tournament.
The tournament will be held from April 10-13 at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and Mini Estadi, the training facilities of FC Barcelona and FC Barcelona Youth Academy. There will be over 1,500 youth players competing in 134 teams from 21 countries. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young Floridians to compete against the best teams from FCBEscolas all over the world.
This will be the third year FCBEscola Florida will compete in the tournament and this year they will have four teams participating: Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, and Under 14. The children enrolled in the school and competing in April have a unique story of triumph and success in order to participate at one of the top youth soccer academies and tournaments globally.
The FC Barcelona Soccer Academy is an exclusive opportunity for local children to learn the methodology and values from the unmatched Barca style and philosophy. FC Barcelona Director and will move the entire year in the U.S. to conduct the weekly training sessions and teach the principles of one of the most successful soccer academies in the world. The school offers competitive and development programs for children aged 6 to 16 years.

FC Barcelona currently has 25 active FCBEscolas, more than 160 campuses and 50 clinics, with a presence in more than 50 countries with more than 40,000 children taking part in activities promoted by the FCB Escola.
